TGIFF! Goes From Bolt to Beauty

This week, Michelle, of From Bolt to Beauty is kicking off our Australia Day long weekend and hosting TGIFF. Michelle has been sewing for well over a decade, but it wasn't until 2013 that she started quilting. Now, some 15 quilt tops later, her innocent hobby has taken over her free time (and her dining room!).

Just because it's Australia Day, here's an educational video for you (some language, be warned...).

Then head on over to From Bolt to Beauty to learn more about Michelle's adventures in sewing quilts, bags, pillows, and other cool stuff.

TGIFF at Val's Quilting Studio

Today's guest host is Valerie from Val's Quilting Studio.
She started her quilting journey in 2009 and started blogging in June 2013.  She loves to connect with others who shares her passion for quilting.  She's an eclectic sewer who bounces between applique, english paper piecing, traditional and out-of-the-box piecing.  Check out her Sunday Organizing Series.
I'd also like to take this time to share with you a new linkup she'll be hosting every Tuesday, called Tuesday Archives.  Every Tuesday you get the chance to share your OLD quilting / sewing posts.
It's as easy as 1,2,3...
1.  Each Tuesday she will post a new quilting / sewing theme.
2.  Search through your quilting archives for old posts to link under the theme.
3.  Visit a few other quilty friends and let them know they have inspired you.
